La Primera Boca; Lorena Izquierdo – voice, action & Edith Steyer – alto saxophone, clarinet, preparations.
In this piece, the duo La Primera Boca wonders how a paradox is articulated, both sonically and visually, as well as in the relationship between nature and the social, between the sky and the human. What dependencies exist in the relationship of these elements, both formal and contextual, what can be done to make this evident, how can the dependencies and this need for survival be made visible, how can we explore the limits between what we express and what is interpreted and bring it into a social context? These dependencies are articulated through sounds, movements and word. In the struggle for survival of and in the world, all emotions are allowed.
